From January 30 to February 5, the weekly production of sample silicon companies in Xinjiang was 31,280 tons, with a weekly operating rate of 65%, significantly down from the previous week. During this period, Xinjiang sample silicon companies experienced large-scale maintenance and production cuts, which had a considerable impact on weekly operations. At the end of January and early February, the main futures contract prices hovered around 8,900-9,000 yuan/ton. Some northern silicon companies actively shipped out inventory, effectively alleviating inventory pressure. Next week, the operating rate in Xinjiang samples is expected to remain slightly weak. Attention should be paid to changes in the operating rate after the Spring Festival. (Shanghai Nonferrous Metals Network)
