Before the United States and Israel launched a military strike against Iran, the CIA had already identified the possible whereabouts of Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei. Several insiders revealed that U.S. intelligence agencies had been tracking Khamenei’s activities for months, continuously improving their understanding of his travel patterns and potential locations. Subsequently, U.S. intelligence learned that several high-ranking Iranian officials planned to hold a meeting in a leadership office area in downtown Tehran on the morning of February 28, with Khamenei himself attending. After obtaining this intelligence, the U.S. and Israel decided to adjust the original strike timing. Israel then carried out a targeted attack planned for months. The operation was launched early on the 28th Israel time, with fighter jets taking off from bases, and about two hours later, long-range missiles struck the relevant targets in Tehran. It is reported that at the time of the attack, several senior Iranian national security officials were in the same building, while Khamenei was located in another nearby building. (CCTV News)
