Bosch China denies initiating layoffs; Xu Daqian responds: Changes in some traditional business lines are normal.

Recently, Bosch China President Xu Daqian told the Daily Economic News, “A company with over 50,000 employees has made some adjustments to certain traditional business lines. In an era of major transformation in the automotive industry, such changes are normal for any company. Our personnel adjustments this time only involve specific departments and are not to be mistaken as Bosch initiating layoffs, which is not the case.” This is his response to recent rumors about Bosch China reducing staff. According to reporters, Bosch China’s minor adjustments to certain business lines are also related to Bosch Group’s overall strategic layout and industry development trends. (Daily Economic News)
