Coca-Cola Andina has inaugurated its most modern plant in the region in Duque de Caxias, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This new facility, the eleventh for the company, boasts over 57,000 square meters and can produce more than 600 million liters of beverages and water annually, operating under an Industry 4.0 concept with automated processes, AI, augmented reality, and machine learning. This $365 million expansion project significantly increases production capacity for both returnable and non-returnable packaging, supports an estimated 7,700 direct jobs, and underscores Coca-Cola’s commitment to sustainability and efficient operations.
