IT Home, February 24 — According to The Wall Street Journal yesterday, NVIDIA’s consumer-grade N1X chip is expected to debut within this year, with brands like Lenovo and Dell likely to be the first to launch.
Reportedly, the N1X chip uses the Arm architecture and is based on a modified version of the DGX Spark mini PC’s GB10 Grace Blackwell. It was originally scheduled for release last year but was delayed to the second quarter of this year due to “vulnerabilities and software issues.” Additionally, NVIDIA may release another Arm-based chip called N1V, but current information is very limited.
In terms of specifications, both N1X and N1V will feature low-power NVIDIA GPUs and MediaTek Arm architecture CPUs. Dell and Lenovo are expected to be the first OEM manufacturers to launch these chips.
Dell is expected to incorporate these two chips into Alienware gaming laptops, while Lenovo will equip its Legion gaming laptops with both chips. In the future, these chips will also be integrated into products like IdeaPad, Yoga, and Yoga Pro series.
