According to the National Health Commission, in order to implement the decisions and deployments of party and state institutional reforms, administrative approval system reforms, and optimization of the business environment, and to further strengthen the management of radiological health technical service institutions, the National Health Commission and the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention have formulated the “Measures for the Administration of Radiological Health Technical Service Institutions,” which will come into effect on April 1, 2026. The “Measures” consist of five chapters and 49 articles, including General Provisions, Qualification Recognition, Technical Services, Supervision and Management, and Supplementary Provisions. They specify the conditions for qualification applications, review procedures, scope of services, requirements for standardized practice, and responsibilities of supervisory departments. Among them, it is stated that the state implements a qualification recognition system for radiological health technical service institutions. These institutions must obtain the qualification for radiological health technical services in accordance with these measures; those without such qualification are not allowed to engage in radiological health testing and evaluation technical services.
