Odaily Planet Daily News: The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a statement regarding Israel and the United States’ military aggression against Iran: Dear Iranian people, compatriots, our sacred and precious homeland, Iran has once again been subjected to military aggression by the United States and Israel. This morning, on the eve of Nowruz and the tenth day of Ramadan, the United States and Israel openly violated Iran’s territorial integrity and national sovereignty, attacking defense targets and non-military facilities in various Iranian cities. The recent military aggression by the United States and Israel against Iran occurs while Iran is engaged in diplomatic negotiations with the United States. Although we are confident of the intentions behind the renewed military aggression by the US and Israel, to demonstrate our stance to the international community and countries around the world, we have once again entered negotiations to prove the justice of the Iranian people and to reveal the illegality of any pretext for aggression. Now, the Iranian people are proud of everything they are doing to prevent war. It is time to defend our homeland and resist the enemy’s military invasion. While we prepare for negotiations, we are also ready for defense at any moment. The Iranian armed forces will respond to the aggressors with overwhelming strength.
