(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski stated this during a speech in the Polish Sejm, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“The value of our support in 48 aid packages amounts to more than EUR 3.5 billion,” Sikorski noted.

He pointed out that Poland has, in particular, allocated $100 million to the “Prioritized Ukraine Requirements List” (PURL) initiative for the purchase of American weapons for Ukraine and $100 million to the Czech initiative for the procurement of ammunition for the Ukrainian army. “Therefore, as we are a leader in providing assistance, we will also be a leader in rebuilding Ukraine. This will be a new opportunity for Polish entrepreneurs,” Sikorski concluded.

As Ukrinform previously reported, during his speech in the Sejm on the priorities of Poland’s foreign policy in 2026, Sikorski stated that Ukraine’s victory would be Poland’s victory, and in the event of Kyiv’s defeat, the threat to Poland would not decrease but would grow. He emphasized that Russian ruler Putin seeks not peace, but Ukraine’s capitulation.
