Hondal told Cointelegraph on Thursday: "A lot of near-term uncertainty is already priced into Ethereum. It wouldn't surprise me at all if Ethereum's price remains relatively low over the next few weeks." He pointed to geopolitical tensions and progress made in U.S. transparency laws as factors the market has largely absorbed.



Ethereum is currently trading at around $2,021, down 56.8% from its peak of approximately $4,687 in October, the same period when Bitcoin reached an all-time high of about $126,100, according to CoinMarketCap. Ethereum has also decreased by 31.65% over the past thirty days.
