Gelonghui, February 28 — According to Securities Daily, the power semiconductor industry is experiencing a new wave of price increases. Recently, domestic power semiconductor company XinJieNeng announced a price adjustment notice, stating that MOSFET (Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor Field-Effect Transistor) products will be increased by at least 10%, effective from March 1 for shipments. Prior to this, several leading domestic and international companies, including Infineon Technologies, Silan Microelectronics, and Jiangsu Hongwei Technology Co., Ltd., have also announced product price adjustments, with increases generally ranging from 10% to 20%, and some products even higher. “The recent price hikes in the power semiconductor sector are mainly driven by rising cost pressures and the structural demand surge fueled by AI,” said Ding Bingzhong, partner at Shanghai Jimao Asset Management Co., Ltd., in an interview.
