SpaceX Plans to Submit Secret IPO Application as Early as March, Valuation May Exceed $1.75 Trillion

According to Bloomberg, citing sources familiar with the matter, Elon Musk's space exploration company (SpaceX) plans to submit a confidential application to the SEC as early as March this year, paving the way for a potential IPO in June.

Sources reveal that the valuation for this IPO could exceed $1.75 trillion, with fundraising potentially reaching up to $50 billion. Details may still be adjusted based on market conditions. If the valuation is accurate, SpaceX would become one of the largest publicly traded companies in U.S. stock market history.

It is noteworthy that SpaceX has chosen the "confidential filing" approach, which, under the U.S. Jumpstart Our Business Startups (JOBS) Act, allows companies with annual revenue below $1 billion to submit IPO applications privately. This process has been adopted by several tech giants and helps companies flexibly adjust their issuance plans before going public.

The rumors of SpaceX's IPO have been circulating for some time, but Musk has previously stated that the company will remain private until regular flights of its "Mars colonization transportation system" are achieved.
