Liu Hong, Director of the Oil and Natural Gas Department of the National Energy Administration, stated that by 2026, efforts will be made to systematically strengthen the connectivity of oil and gas infrastructure. The continuous improvement of the national natural gas trunk line network will be prioritized, with a focus on fully integrating incremental imported gas, large domestic bases, and major storage facilities. Oil and refined product pipelines will undergo localized optimization, while also considering the needs of green hydrogen, ammonia, and alcohol pipeline transformation.
