National Energy Administration: Orderly strengthening of oil and gas infrastructure connectivity, while considering the needs of green hydrogen, ammonia, and alcohol pipeline transportation transformation

Liu Hong, Director of the Oil and Natural Gas Department of the National Energy Administration, stated that by 2026, efforts will be made to systematically strengthen the connectivity of oil and gas infrastructure. The continuous improvement of the national natural gas trunk line network will be prioritized, with a focus on fully integrating incremental imported gas, large domestic bases, and major storage facilities. Oil and refined product pipelines will undergo localized optimization, while also considering the needs of green hydrogen, ammonia, and alcohol pipeline transformation. The goal is to promote the integrated development of oil and gas pipelines with new energy and emerging industries. (People’s Financial News)
