When I was in school, my parents always said I was a slow learner and should make up for it with hard work. I stubbornly replied:
There are three types of slow learners in the world. One is the one that takes off first. Another is the one that gets tired and doesn't want to fly. My mom asked: What about the third? I answered: The third is the smartest. If you can't fly, just lay an egg in your nest and let your next generation fly their hardest. After saying that, I got a good beating.
