卓创资讯:January FCV production and sales volume significantly decreased

According to China Association of Automobile Manufacturers data, the production of fuel cell vehicles in January 2026 will be 51 units, with sales of 70 units, a year-on-year decrease of 13.6% and 47%, respectively; compared to December 2025, they decreased by 98% and 98.4%. The broad decline in fuel cell production and sales is due to several factors. On one hand, 2025 marked the final year of the 14th Five-Year Plan, and relevant subsidy policies still existed. Companies and demonstration cities actively pushed for higher output, leading to a sharp increase in production and sales. After reaching the target, there was a lack of momentum in January. On the other hand, the new subsidy policies for 2026 are still unclear, and market sentiment remains cautious. Currently, hydrogen energy transportation is in development. With support from national and local government policies and gradual breakthroughs in industry technical bottlenecks, the cost of hydrogen for industry use is expected to gradually decrease. The transportation sector is poised for rapid growth, and the number of fuel cell vehicles is steadily increasing. (Zhuochuang Information)
