The General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces reported on February 5th that Ukrainian troops used domestically produced FP-5 “Firebird” missiles and other long-range attack weapons to successfully carry out a series of strikes on the Kapuskin Yar missile testing site located in Astrakhan Province, Russia. The targets of the strike were hangar-like structures within the testing site used for pre-launch preparations of medium-range intercontinental ballistic missiles. According to available information, some buildings were damaged to varying degrees, with one hangar severely affected, and some personnel have already evacuated.
