Permissionless stock trading just hit the market on December 26, crushing the old settlement model—1 minute finality instead of the painful T+2wait traditional brokers still cling to. Meanwhile, DTCC secured SEC approval to tokenize Russell 1000 stocks and major ETFs directly on-chain. Here's what's telling: major players are actively fighting this shift. When $100 trillion in equity markets migrate to crypto rails, the winners and losers become crystal clear. The ones resisting hardest? They've got the most to lose.

Wait a moment, I need to analyze the on-chain fund flow behind this... 1-minute settlement compared to T+2, this speed difference is too strange, there must be a whale front-running the layout.

T+2 really deserves to be in a museum, a 1-minute settlement is simply a blow to the fundamentals.

T+2 this slow settlement has long been unbearable for me, and finally someone has got it done. That said, it's understandable that traditional brokerages are reluctant to let go, after benefiting from technological dividends for so many years.

T+2 and such a long wait is really outrageous; a 1-minute transaction is nothing. Just eliminate the middlemen directly.

ngl the speed upgrade is cool and all but... 1 min finality means liquidation cascades hit FAST. been there, lost that when things moved quicker than my brain could process. just saying, watch those health factors tight when this goes mainstream fr

Don't be brainwashed by this rhetoric. Will the DTCC folks really obediently hand over 100 trillion? I don't think so.

T+2 is already in the past tense, really a bit of a loss.
