Data: Listed companies increased their holdings by 131,000 Bitcoins in the second quarter, with open interest rising by 18%.
On July 1, according to CNBC reports, the number of Bitcoin purchased by publicly listed companies exceeded the increase in Spot ETF for the third consecutive quarter. Bitcoin Treasuries data shows that these companies purchased approximately 131,000 Bitcoins in the second quarter of 2025, with a Bitcoin balance rise of 18%. During the same period, the holdings of Bitcoin ETFs increased by 8% to approximately 111,000. Bitcoin ETFs remain the largest holders of Bitcoin, with a total exceeding 1.4 million, accounting for about 6.8% of the fixed supply cap of 21 million. Publicly listed companies collectively hold about 855,000 Bitcoins, accounting for about 4%.
