TRUMP dinner attendees: ate a piece of "Walmart bull steak", but couldn't take a photo with the president.
On May 23, Fortune reported that 25-year-old influencer Nicholas Pinto had purchased a total of $360,000 worth of TRUMP tokens for a Trump dinner, but the banquet food disappointed him: “It’s rubbish, Walmart-level steak.” Pinto said that the “Trump Organic Pastoral Salad” and the “double entrée” (filet mignon + pan-fried flounder) on the menu received collective negative reviews. “Everyone at our table said it was the worst meal we’ve ever eaten.” But the highlight of the night wasn’t the food, it was Trump himself. When asked if it was worth the ticket price, Pinto bluntly said, “I was expecting to eat Trump’s favorite Big Mac or pizza, which was better than tonight’s meal.” When Pinto arrived at the dinner, he was greeted by a protest parade from the nonprofit Public Citizen, whose co-chair, Robert Weisman, previously said: “Trump’s crypto business is one of the most corrupt innovations in American political history.” The atmosphere at the club was similarly subtle, and while Trump did show up to speak, Pinto commented that the content was mostly nonsense, and that most of the guests had no chance of getting close to the president. Even Caitlyn Sinclair, the host of the dinner and anchor of the conservative media outlet OANN, complained: “Trump won’t even give a group photo.” After the dinner ended at about 10 o’clock, a hungry Pinto went for a late-night snack first, and Pinto concluded, “The only thing I could eat all night was pre-dinner bread and butter.”
