The mentions of "Crypto Assets" and "stablecoin" in SEC filings hit a record high.

On May 6th, according to TheBlock, the mentions of “Crypto Assets” and “stablecoin” in the documents of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) have reached an all-time high. In April, SEC documents mentioned “Crypto Assets” 786 times, a 38% increase from 569 times in March, and an 8% increase from 727 times in April 2024. The term “stablecoin” was mentioned an average of 103 times from February to April 2025, doubling the previous 13-month average of 48 times, with March reaching 124 times. The surge in data reflects that federal agencies are increasing their focus on digital assets, and the new regulatory framework and stablecoin guidelines that the SEC is about to introduce have become the market’s focus, as “Crypto Assets” are transforming into the core of enterprise Risk Management and investor relations.
