However, its correlation with Bitcoin has decreased, with a 90-day decline of 24.86%. $XRP 1Hr Chart Outlook
Price is currently forming a short-term double bottom structure after the sharp downside move, with price now stabilizing around $1.44–$1.45.
Price has already printed Bottom 1 and Bottom 2, showing early signs of demand stepping in. Right now, XRP is consolidating just below the $1.46–$1.47 resistance zone, which is acting as the neckline of this structure.
This is a decision area — not a trend yet.
If bulls manage to push and hold above $1.47, it opens a quick move toward $1.50–$1.52, where previous supply kicked in. A clean breakout here can trigger momentum continuation.
On the flip side, if price gets rejected again from this zone, expect another rotation back toward $1.42–$1.40, as liquidity below the equal lows is still attractive.
Key levels
Resistance: $1.47
Breakout targets: $1.50 → $1.52
Support: $1.42–$1.40
This range is ideal for scalping between support and resistance, but avoid chasing — wait for either a clean breakout or rejection confirmation.

🚨 Cryptocurrency Crashed Sharply Today, Here Are the Main Reasons 👇
Digital currencies plummeted sharply on Thursday due to escalating Middle East tensions and rising U.S. inflation data (PPI), suppressing risk appetite 📉
📊 Details:
• #BTC dropped to $69,000
• #ETH fell to $2,100
• Other currencies such as $XRP $SOL $DOGE declined between 3%–6%
💥 Over $300 million in long positions were liquidated, exacerbating the decline.
🌍 Key reasons: The situation escalated severely following attacks on Iran's South Pars gas field, while tensions in the Strait of Hormuz intensified, driving oil prices to new highs ⛽
📉 Global markets also declined:
◻️ U.S. and Asian stock markets fell
◻️ Gold and silver lost over $150 billion
◻️ Energy markets continue to rise
In my view, when gold and cryptocurrencies fall simultaneously, you should pay close attention, because liquidity is shifting toward cash.
🏦 On the other hand: Jerome Powell's comments and strong PPI data weakened rate-cut expectations, placing additional pressure on markets.
🎯 Summary: Markets now face dual pressure: geopolitical (energy and conflict), and economic (inflation and interest rates)
⚠️ Volatility may persist, and risk management is more important than ever. $BTC

The SEC released an official interpretive document on March 17, 2026, and added a batch of tokens to its digital commodities examples list. Digital commodities have basically evaded securities law regulation. Here's the complete list:
The first tier consists of 16 tokens that are consistently classified as digital commodities:
$BTC (Bitcoin)、 $ETH (Ethereum)、 $XRP (Ripple)、 $SOL (Solana)、
$ADA (Cardano)、 $DOGE (Dogecoin)、 $SHIB (Shiba Inu)、 $LINK (Chainlink)、
$AVAX (Avalanche)、 $APT ( Aptos)、 $HBAR ( Hedera )、 $LTC (Litecoin)、
$DOT (Polkadot)、 $XLM (Stellar)、 $XTZ (Tezos)、 $BCH (Bitcoin Cash)
Additionally, $ALGO ( Algorand )and $LBC (LBRY Credits)were also singled out by the SEC as digital commodities, which came as a pleasant surprise.
The most controversial case here is $XRP. The SEC listed $XRP as a digital commodities example in 2026, but the court still determined that certain sales practices of XRP fall under securities law. As a result, the SEC added some emphasis to clarify that while the token itself is not a security, this doesn't mean that all issuances, sales, and packaging methods of that token are exempt from securities law—somewhat like preparing a special dish just for this particular criticism.
The secondary market positioning has essentially been finalized. Subsequent regulatory clarity will likely become more explicit. Following the US approach will at least get you through to the next cycle. Who knows—maybe the next altseason will be a digital commodities season.
