Data center demand helps Generac raise its 2026 sales outlook

Generac (NYSE: GNRC) reported strong Q1 2026 results, with net sales up 12% year-over-year to $1.06 billion and adjusted net income of $1.80 per share. The growth was primarily driven by a 28% increase in Commercial & Industrial (C&I) segment sales, boosted by demand from the data center market. Consequently, the company raised its full-year 2026 net sales growth guidance to the mid-to-high teens percent range and adjusted EBITDA margin expectations to 18.5-19.5%.
