Fees vary depending on the coin and network.
You can select your coin and network on the withdrawal page to view the real-time fee, which is displayed on-screen.
5. Why does it say my phone number is already in use?
Each phone number can only be linked to one account or used as a username.
- You can unbind the number from the previous account before binding it to a new one.
- Alternatively, try using a different phone number.
6. What do 3S and 3L mean in spot trading?
3S and 3L are 3x Leveraged ETF Tokens.
These tokens have no liquidation risk, automatically rebalance daily or periodically, and don’t require margin.
Users can achieve leveraged trading effects simply by buying and selling tokens.

7. If Auto Renew is enabled for Crypto Loans, will it still auto-borrow if I repay early?
Yes. If Auto Renew is enabled, the system will automatically re-borrow when the loan term ends.
To avoid this, please disable Auto Renew before making early repayments.
8. Why can’t I withdraw within 24 hours?
If you purchased crypto through Fiat Trading, the withdrawal of equivalent assets will be restricted for 24 hours.

9. What should I do if I accidentally paid a previous P2P counterparty?
You can find the previous order in your Completed Orders, then submit an appeal.
Our dispute specialist will contact you and assist with the case.
10. I made a P2P payment, but the seller didn’t release the crypto. What should I do?
First, confirm that you’ve clicked “Confirm Payment.”
If you have, try contacting the seller.
If there’s no response or they don’t answer calls, submit an appeal and upload proof of payment.
Please monitor the appeal status and wait for our support team to process it.
11. How are merchant listings sorted in P2P trading?
Merchant orders follow the price-first, time-priority rule.
Listings with better prices appear first, and among those with the same price, earlier orders rank higher.
If a merchant logs out, their listings will be hidden, and will reappear once they’re back online.
The final order is subject to the live display on the page.
12. How to deposit funds?
- On the top right corner of the homepage, tap Deposit → Onchain Deposit.
Choose the Coin/Network, copy the deposit address, and transfer your funds. - To deposit via fiat, tap Buy Crypto - C2C, then complete your purchase on the C2C page.

14. My deposit hasn’t arrived. What should I do?
First, check the blockchain record to confirm whether the transfer was successful and the deposit details are correct.
If confirmed, go to the coin’s Deposit Page and click Self-Accelerate.
After submitting, wait 5–30 minutes to see if the funds arrive.
If still not received, provide your transaction hash (TXID), coin type, amount, and time of deposit, and contact our online support for assistance.
15. My withdrawal hasn’t arrived. What should I do?
In your Withdrawal History, check the Transaction ID (TXID).
Verify whether the transaction is recorded on the blockchain:
- If confirmed but funds haven’t arrived, contact the receiving platform for assistance.
- If there’s no blockchain record, submit the relevant information to Gate Support for investigation.
16. How to use a GateCode?
A GateCode is generated when withdrawing funds using the GateCode method. It can be used for transfers between Gate accounts.
Each GateCode consists of two parts separated by a “-”.
Copy the full GateCode and paste it into the Redeem GateCode Page, then submit to receive the funds instantly.
Note:
You can check the GateCode’s value or lock it by submitting only the first part.
To complete a full deposit, submit the complete GateCode.
When receiving a GateCode from others, please verify its validity before use.
17. Is futures leverage directly related to profit or loss?
No. Profit and loss in futures trading are determined by position size, not directly by leverage.
Leverage affects the position size and margin required—the higher the leverage, the lower the margin and the greater the position size—but also increases the risk of liquidation.
18. How is the return rate in futures trading calculated?
Return Rate = Unrealized PNL (USD) / Margin × 100%
