Fierce crackdown on Bitcoin mining in Malaysia

Malaysian authorities have launched a wide-scale campaign against around 14,000 illegal mining machines #بيتكوين !

🔍 What's the shocking number?
They consumed electricity worth up to $1.1 billion from 2020 until now $GT #PostonSquaretoEarn$50 ?

📝 Important and dangerous note (:
These miners were not using subsidized electricity ❌
But they were:
• bypassing electricity meters
• or connecting mining devices directly to the grid
• without any contract or official permit at all ⚠️

⚠️ What does this mean?
Massive losses for the infrastructure
Tremendous pressure on the electricity grid
And the concept of “illegal mining” is now under intense scrutiny

🔥 The bottom line:
Countries are now clearly distinguishing between:
Legal and licensed mining ✅
Mining theft and manipulation = severe accountability

In your opinion:
Will these crackdowns spread to other countries?
Or will miners find new workarounds?
