Hyperliquid recently made a big move—their team member iliensinc revealed in Discord that USDC can now be transferred directly between HyperCore and HyperEVM.

What does this mean? Users can now deposit USDC directly into HyperCore, and it’s natively minted, which offers higher security. More importantly, according to their plan, the Arbitrum bridge will eventually be phased out, and all USDC transfers will use native minting.

I also checked the data: there are currently 6.64 billion USDC on Arbitrum. This technical change could have a significant impact on liquidity distribution, so it’s worth keeping an eye on future capital flows.

The new bridge is generally stable but has some risks.
