It's best not to mess around blindly during a bear market. On-chain activity is as cold as winter right now.
Ethereum mainnet gas fees have hit a new low—0.025 Gwei, can you believe it? Transferring funds costs only $0.0017 in fees. That's right, mainnet transfers, fees starting with two zeros.
Even funnier, several major L2s are now 3 to 5 times more expensive than the mainnet, hovering between $0.0055 and $0.0079.
Who could have imagined these numbers before? On-chain activity is as cold as the market itself, making people question their existence.

I really can't figure this out—L2 is actually more expensive than the mainnet? What kind of logic is that?
In a bear market, you should just lay low—why bother messing around?
A $0.0017 transfer would be hilarious in a bull market.
If I had known today would be like this, I wouldn't have been so reckless back then.
On-chain activity is dead, it's chilling to the bone.
Gas fees are so low it's actually making me anxious.
L2 is basically out of a job, what's the point of charging fees now?
You can tell how bad the market is just by looking at this data.
Bear markets are tough, but you'll win as long as you don't do anything stupid.
Mainnet fees are insanely low, but there's really no activity left.
This is the time when surviving matters more than making money.

This gas fee is ridiculously low, feels like I'm doing charity.
L2 is actually more expensive, what kind of logic is that?
In a bear market, you should just lie flat, stop messing around, seriously.
If mainnet fees start with double digits, just surviving is worth something.
It's cold, but at least it saves money, haha.
Who is still messing around on-chain? It's a ghost town.
This fee structure makes no sense, I can't even laugh about it.
Wait, L2 is more expensive than mainnet? Did I get that wrong?
On-chain activity is really in hibernation mode, not a single soul around.

Gas fees dropping this much really shows that no one is playing anymore.
L2 is actually more expensive than the mainnet, which is kind of illogical.
That's how a bear market is—completely cold.

Wait, L2 is actually more expensive? That’s gotta be really dead.
---
Mainnet is already at 0.0017, and there are still people hyping up the L2 revolution every day?
---
Gas fees starting with two zeros, people are numb.
---
That’s just how bear markets are, so cheap that no one’s using it.
---
These transaction fees are ridiculously low, but no one's actually doing anything on-chain.
---
L2 being more expensive than mainnet, I really didn’t see that coming.
---
If it’s this dead, why bother? Might as well just sleep.
---
Gas fees are dirt cheap, and so is the activity, apparently.
