Just caught wind of something pretty wild — seems like Texas might've actually gone ahead and loaded up some #BTC at the state level. Dan Patrick (the LT Governor down there) basically confirmed it, saying they're making history as America's first state to officially hold Bitcoin.
Dude even name-dropped Trump, talking about wanting Texas to become the digital asset capital of the country. Whether this is just political posturing or a real strategic move, guess we'll see how this plays out. But one thing's for sure — if more states start following this playbook, things could get interesting real quick.

Did Texas really adopt Bitcoin as a reserve asset? Now we’ll have to see how many other states follow suit.

For this move in Texas, we need to first look at their wallet management solution. If they actually put the coins on-chain, but fail to properly handle permission control and key management, the risks could be even greater than holding the coins themselves.

ngl if this really happens, other states will definitely follow suit. That's just how US politics works.

This move by Texas is really smart. Is it just political posturing or actual implementation? Anyway, if all 50 states follow suit, the US would truly become a crypto paradise.

NGL, this move by Texas is truly impressive. If other states follow suit, the U.S. political stance on Bitcoin might really reverse.

This move by Texas is truly impressive; finally, a state government dares to take the plunge.
