After a few years of hustling in this market, I’ve summed up a few survival rules—not aiming for instant riches, just longevity.

Stuck in a position? Don’t try to recover everything at once. As long as you still have your principal, you have a ticket to the next round. Trying to double up in a hurry usually gets you wiped out even faster.

Sideways markets are the most dangerous. The calmer the surface, the stronger the undercurrent. Don’t be fooled by steady candlesticks—this is always the calm before the storm.

Don’t just get excited during pumps. The harder it surges, the harder it crashes. When things go crazy, cash out half first—locking in profits is real skill. As for the rest, let it ride however it goes.

Entries and exits should go against human nature: dare to buy when it looks ugly, dare to sell when everyone’s greedy. Going with your feelings? That’s for amateurs.

Remember the three don’ts: don’t rush to sell during pumps, don’t try to catch the bottom during dumps, and don’t trade aimlessly during sideways action. Controlling your hands is more effective than any technical indicator.

Read trends both ways: in favorable markets, watch the support levels; in tough markets, watch the resistance levels. This is basic survival.

Never go all-in. All-in feels good for a moment, but liquidation means the end. Enter in batches, exit in batches—always leave yourself some room.

If your mindset collapses, even the best skills are useless. Greed, panic, and impulse—these three things can wipe your account to zero.

The ones who last the longest are the real winners.
