The Rizzmas memecoin reached a market cap of $94.26 million at the end of last November, before plummeting 98% to $1.76 million at the start of the following year. It then remained virtually inactive throughout 2025, hitting a low of $602,150 in March.

Since then, its value has climbed more than 600%, reaching a market cap of $4.38 million before pulling back 12% to $3.82 million. Interestingly, the Solana-based memecoin hit a market cap high of $11.15 million in August.

Throughout this period, the team that took over the Rizzmas memecoin community has been working hard in hopes of helping the token reach “its full potential.”

The team launched a minigame app for iOS, which they say uses ad revenue to burn Rizzmas tokens, released merchandise, and started creating holiday-themed content. And that’s just the beginning.

“We’ve planned and are planning MANY things for our most important month,” said Naka Kash, CTO of the core Rizzmas team. “Billboards in New York, collaborations with big names, the Rizzmas lottery, features on CoinMarketCap, new community-driven token burn mechanisms, major in-person marketing campaigns, and much more.”

Seasonal Memecoins

Rizzmas is just one of countless seasonal or event-related themed cryptocurrencies that gain popularity throughout the year.

Often, the event is darker than Christmas celebrations, with cryptocurrencies gaining attention when a celebrity dies or the anniversary of significant events approaches. Generally, the success of these cryptocurrencies is temporary, as enthusiasm and attention quickly fade after the event ends.

However, the team behind Rizzmas has tried to overcome this fate by evolving the meme to mean “rizz more” (something like “more rizz”), Kash explained. That’s because “rizz” is short for “charisma” (carisma) and a Gen Z slang term for flirting with someone, while “mas” is the Spanish word for “more” (mais) — making the meme mean “flirt more.”

That said, at its core, Rizzmas is a festive meme. Last year, it led a wave of Christmas-themed memecoins right in the middle of the season.

At the time, Pump.fun’s token launch platform peaked at 42,000 tokens per day, with nearly $5 million in daily revenue and a weekly processed volume of $3.1 billion. Those numbers have dropped significantly. Now, Pump.fun creates only 21,800 tokens per day, generates $750,000 in daily revenue, and $568.3 million in weekly volume.
