Sometimes the market really doesn’t follow the script.
$SOL I did make some profit this time, but it reversed before reaching my ideal target, and I watched over $30,000 in profits slip away. $BTC Even more ridiculous, it just moved sideways all day yesterday, not going up or down. It didn’t take the opportunity when it had it, and as soon as I adjusted my strategy, it plunged.
What was supposed to be a steady situation ended up with me making several thousand dollars less.
Oh well, maybe I expected too much from the market makers’ tricks. Trading is all about having hope for yourself—there’s always a next time. The market won’t be perfect every time, but the next opportunity is always just around the corner.

Thirty thousand U just vanished like that, it's really insane. That BTC sideways movement was the most ridiculous.

According to research, this phenomenon of "expectation versus reality deviation" has long been discussed in technical analysis—the psychological expectations of market participants often form an invisible support/resistance level. When prices fail to deliver accordingly, a liquidity vacuum is created. From a technical perspective, the reversal point of SOL precisely validates the viewpoint I mentioned earlier from the paper on asymmetric order flow. It is worth noting that the combination of BTC's sideways movement and plunge, according to data, usually occurs during the window period when large funds are being redeployed—this is not a "market maker trick," but rather the capital reality reflected by on-chain data.

30,000 USDT just disappeared like that. Is it that I'm too slow, or are the market makers too cunning?

This is why I hate sideways markets—they really wear down your mindset.
