#美SEC促进加密资产创新监管框架 Everyone thinks my trading is pretty steady these days, like I can just watch the charts and know exactly when to get in and out.

But honestly, in my early days, I was just like everyone else—getting beaten by the market until I started doubting myself.

Chasing hype, following calls, FOMO buying at the top—I stepped in every trap there was.
It took me a while to figure it out: what kept me alive wasn’t some magical feel for the market, but the most basic thing—sticking to discipline.

From a starting capital of 5,000 to now having 8 million in my account, I relied on just a few hard rules:

**Rule #1: Control the urge to trade.**
While others place a dozen orders a night, I make at most 1-2 trades a day. The more you act, the more likely you are to get caught up in market emotions.

**Rule #2: Only trade mainstream assets.**
I don’t even look at those so-called 100x coins. I stick with $BTC, $ETH —liquid, predictable assets. I don’t want a get-rich-quick story, I want steady survival.

**Rule #3: Trade strictly according to plan.**
Entry points, take-profit, and stop-loss are all set in advance.
No action unless the price hits my levels; if triggered, I execute, no changing my mind on the fly.
The more mechanical I am, the fewer mistakes I make.

**Rule #4: Always leave room in your position.**
At most, I use 1/5 to 1/3 of my funds on a single trade.
Never go all-in, never bet everything—I’ve been saved by this rule countless times.

**Rule #5: Don’t touch orders after setting take-profit and stop-loss.**
Once they’re set, leave them alone. Don’t let short-term volatility mess with your mindset.

Why does this “dumb” method actually make money?
Because smart people like to predict, to gamble on direction, but what really blows up an account isn’t being wrong about the market—it’s not being able to control your hands.

My path has been slow.
Early on, I’d make a few thousand, lose a few thousand, back and forth. I even had major drawdowns—my account once dropped back to just over ten thousand.
But every time, I stuck to my strict rules:
No adding to positions, no random moves, no playing it by ear.

Year after year, grinding it out,
The account kept growing,
And eventually, I hit 8 million.

Can you replicate this? Yes.
But you have to do three things:
Resist the anxiety when others are making fast money;
Stay calm when you see trade calls flying;
Stick to your own trading discipline.

The market never rewards cleverness, only execution.

There’s nothing legendary or exciting about this path.
But it keeps me alive, earning steadily, and going the distance.

Sounds pretty hyped, but I'm afraid it's just another retrospective pitch... How many can really deliver?

To be honest, I've heard a lot of people praise this kind of discipline theory, but very few can actually stick to it. Going from 5k to 8 million sounds great, but that drawdown of over 10k in the early stage... I have to ask, did you really never waver back then?

That's right, you really have to rely on discipline to survive. I used to be impulsive too, making more than a dozen trades a day, and ended up losing money really fast. Now I've learned my lesson—I stick to BTC and ETH, set my orders and don't watch the charts. My mindset is much smoother now.

That's right, you have to stick to discipline. I used to be impulsive too, but now I realize that making money is just this simple and straightforward.
