I only recently figured things out by closely watching the market—this generation of market makers is really nothing like the old ones.

Remember the early days of altcoin seasons? The pace was slow and steady, but you could still see gains of three to five times. Now? They just hit you with a wave of violent pumps, doubling prices in an instant—then immediately dump them like a waterfall.

Longs don’t get to profit, shorts get liquidated, and both sides are basically just giving money away. If this gameplay continues, I bet in the end it’ll just be the manipulators trading among themselves. With market liquidity being drained like this, how are ordinary investors supposed to participate?

While Bitcoin is consolidating at high levels, altcoins are getting lively, but with these wild swings, you really have to wonder if the market is still healthy. ETH’s recent movements have been strange too; it feels like the whole market is just waiting for a direction.

This round is really shady. Just passing tokens from one hand to the other, and in the end, there's no retail left to fleece. I came here for a chance at profit, but now I don't even have the courage to enter the market. To put it bluntly, this is just how the market is. Retail investors should have seen the reality by now. The wild ups and downs—my heart can't take it anymore. Seriously, all the liquidity has been drained, there's nothing left to play. I'm not exaggerating, getting in now is basically giving away money. The current market makers don't want retail investors to survive at all, they pump and then dump right away. The analogy of "left hand to right hand" is spot on, that's exactly what's happening. Let's wait and see, feels like there's another drop coming. This round of altseason is really weird, I got dumped on and I'm still stunned. Not only did I not make any gains, I even lost on transaction fees—total loss. Liquidity has been completely drained, there's nothing left to play with. I can't figure out this ETH movement either, I've given up trying to understand it.
