Speaking of which, Bitdeer’s moves over the past few years have truly been visionary. Several years ago, they started quietly shifting their focus from traditional Bitcoin mining and mining machine businesses to AI computing power. Looking back now, that was a remarkably accurate move.
Becoming one of Nvidia’s rare cloud service partners in Southeast Asia is not a qualification that just any computing center can obtain. How much groundwork and accumulation must have gone on behind the scenes? Last time I saw the news, Nvidia’s other cloud partner in Singapore was Megaspeed, and their initial chip purchase was $1 billion. That’s no small feat.
If Bitdeer didn’t have a sufficiently large AI chip procurement plan to back it up, there’s no way they could have made it onto Nvidia’s partner list in Singapore. You have to understand, obtaining this status means you must have solid financial strength, business scale, and technical capability.
The transition from mining to AI computing power hasn’t been easy, but Bitdeer managed to get the timing right. After all, in this era, whoever controls computing power controls the discourse.

Damn, this move is really smart. The people who realized early on that computing power is the future are all making a killing now.

Damn, switching from mining to AI computing power—now that's some real foresight. Way more clear-headed than all those people still trying to buy the dip.

Oops, this pivot was definitely the right call. Should've known that mining would get increasingly competitive sooner or later.
