According to DeepFlow TechFlow, on December 4, CriptoNoticias reported that the Ethereum Foundation (EF) is deepening its collaboration with educational institutions in Argentina. The University of Buenos Aires (UBA) established a Cryptography and Distributed Systems Research Center in early November, a project closely linked to the Ethereum Foundation ecosystem.
Argentinian software development company Lambda Class donated $1 million to the center, with $250,000 already allocated for undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral scholarships. The center aims to integrate interdisciplinary research on blockchain and distributed systems, covering fields such as mathematics, computer science, and fintech.
In addition, Tomasz Stańczak, Co-Executive Director of the Ethereum Foundation, confirmed that the foundation is advancing an educational project involving several universities in Argentina. Starting in 2026, students at Estación Buenos Aires School in Buenos Aires will receive blockchain technology certificates accredited by the Ethereum Foundation, with courses including the smart contract development language Solidity and more.
