1.How to Copy Bots?
Users can trade on Gate Bots by copying or creating bots themselves, that is, becoming “signalers.” The platform suggests beginners who have little idea about Bot trading principles copy existing bots to start their Bot trading journey.
1.1 What does it mean to copy a bot?
To copy a bot means that users can view the performance of a specific bot created by others on the “Leaderboard.” If you are satisfied with the potential returns of this bot, you can copy its parameters and create your own one.
Note: You can copy bots for free, but five percent of the profit should be given to the bot creator when the copied one ends.
Example: A creates a bot and becomes a signaller. B copies A’s bot and C copies B’s bot. Then A will receive 5% of B’s and C’s profits. There is no limit on the total number of copies.
1.2 How to interpret the bot’s yield curve?
Overall, a red return curve indicates that the bot is at a loss compared to the point in the time when it was created; The green yield curve indicates profits compared to the point in time of the initial creation;
Take the following figure as an example. From 2022-02-27 to 2022-04-04, the green curve shows an upward trend, indicating that the bot was profitable during this period. It shows a downward trend after 2022-04-04, indicating that the bot was actually at a loss during this time.
Therefore, to choose the right bot, you should not only look at the overall return condition but also analyze the recent trend of its yield curve. When the yield curve shows a decline, it is recommended that you invest cautiously.
1.3 How to Copy Bots?

Click on “Bots” on the top navigation bar. Then click on “Bot Pool,” where users can select bots and signallers to view or copy by applying filters including market, bot type, running time, rate of return, and trader nickname.
1.3.2. Leaderboard
In “Leaderboard,” users can check rankings, to which filters, including bot type, running time, return%, and market, can be applied. Users can also check and copy bots according to their demands. Enter “Bots,” click “Bot Pool,” select [Leaderboard], and you can find it.
1.3.3. Copy Bots Providers
1.3.3.1 Follow Excellent Bot Providers
Click “Bots” on the top navigation bar. In “Bot Pool” and “Leaderboard,” users can follow signallers and copy bots. Click on the star icon of the signallers to follow. (Shown below in the screenshot)

You may also go to “Leaderboard” - “Recommended Bots” and “Bots List” to check other users’ homepages where you can follow them by clicking on the “Following” button below their profile pictures.
1.3.3.2 Copy Excellent Providers’ Bots You can check traders and bots you follow and copy the bots you follow to conduct bot trading in “Bots” - “My Bots” - “Following.” In “Following Bots,” click on “Copy” to copy a bot.
You can also check “Following Traders” and click on “Detail” to enter the trader’s homepage and choose bots to copy.
On the selected trader’s homepage, you can check her/his bots and copy them.

1.3.4. Select Excellent Bots Enter “Bots” homepage - “Bot Pool” - “Filter” bots according to market, bot type, running time, rate of return, and trader nickname, and copy bots according to your demands.
**1.3.5. Overall Ranking**
Enter “Bots,” and “Bot Pool,” click on “Overall,” and filter bots according to Return%, copies, etc. Then you can copy bots according to your demands.
1.4 How to terminate bots? The newly copied bots do not terminate in conjunction with the original bots. When the creators of the original bot terminate their bots, an app notification and a direct message will be sent to the users who copied the bot. The copied bots will not automatically terminate; it is up to the users who copied the bot to decide when to terminate it.
