Weekly Review:
After transitioning from SOL back to BSC trenches, my most direct feeling is that BSC now operates purely on news trading. Whether it's current events, hot topics, trends, or memes, everything revolves around top KOLs like @elonmusk or @heyi, or news sources like BBC, CCTV News, Polymarket, etc.
The change brought by pure news trading is: hot topics rotate quickly, celebrity effects outweigh the topics themselves, and recently new AI narratives are still emerging from the residual heat of the lobster, with projects like $titan breaking out.
This model has created the BSC farming playstyle of settling 1u daily before clocking out.
Comparing SOL, narrative is greater than market cap itself. SOL's consistent playstyle is: good narratives attract DEVs to issue coins, CTO teams organize and pump, communities or moderators willingly pay DEX in exchange for better exposure, attracting buyers through narrative as an entry point.
BSC is about spreading news to latecomers who believe after early believers sell.
To be honest, I've still lost quite a bit of money during this period. SOL's habitual thinking patterns cause me to instinctively engage in two-wave trading, but it's hard to find such breakout scenarios on BSC. No matter how good the narrative, it's always a one-wave move.
Taking $Ninja and $Eureka as examples: the former revolves around Aster's privacy narrative, clearly showing there are whales involved, but market follow-up was genuinely weak. After 450K to 1.4m double top, whales tried to support but failed anyway. The latter is whales orchestrating based on @zh's milk tea event openly, yet still couldn't escape the fate of expectation exhaustion and hastily ending.
Eureka was originally profitable, then two-waved for a night, giving back all profits. Not my fortune, I suppose.
Countless other small caps, but most trade flat or get fully loaded then get dumped straight through, which is currently BSC's biggest dilemma, and my current dilemma too.
Can't replicate gains and don't dare hold long even with correct narratives. If everyone goes all-in fighting for positions, then dumps externally, it's hard to believe this version of BSC will exist much longer.
As for rare domestic leaders like @Ga__ke, Leng Jing, they've all become selling indicators. Quite reflective.
Finally, hope next week can be sharper in replicating gains, cherishing the limited liquidity we have.
